Broadview at Purchase College opens care center

Broadview at Purchase College held a grand opening for its High Point Center for Care for assisted living and memory care.

The community aims to build intergenerational connections and lifelong learning through ties with the university.

“The High Point Center for Care offers varying levels of care, including Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, and Memory Care, allowing our residents to age in place while still enjoying some of the same comforts, amenities, and activities as the Broadview community,” said Executive Director Ashley Wade. “We fully expect High Point to enjoy the same success as Broadview at Purchase College and to attract people who want to continue to enjoy living and explore new experiences.’’

Broadview at Purchase College opened its independent living and villa homes in late 2023 and are now fully occupied with a waiting list of prospective residents. The overall community rests on 40-acres of land that was leased from the university of LCS.

The new High Point Center for Care offers 32 private suites in a memory care neighborhood setting designed to reduce confusion and boost confidence of residents while ensuring security of all in the community.

The overall community includes a swimming pool, fitness center, movie theater, spa, salon, dining venues and an on-site health center with partnerships to the university’s Neuberger Museum of Art, Performing Arts Center and academic and athletic facilities on campus.

Broadview at Purchase College was co-developed by Senior Care Development and LCS Development and is operated by LCS.
