ANT Middleton has finally sold his sprawling family home for £1.35million – meaning he could be set to net himself a fortune.

The former SAS: Who Dares Wins star, 44, was forced to put the five-bed property on the market after business debts left him facing bankruptcy.

Ant and his wife Emilie had bought the rural retreat in Essex for £1.16million in 2019.

The Sun can now exclusively reveal the couple have agreed a sale price of £1.35million with a buyer.

Ant had advertised his house, which has a £50,000 orangery, a designer kitchen with wine cooler and a standalone gym, for £1.5million.

But although he hasn’t achieved the asking price, the TV tough guy is set to make a tidy profit.

The forced sale of the couple’s ‘matrimonial’ home had been reported in a liquidation update for Ant’s company Sway and Starting.

Filed at Companies House, a Progress Report on the ‘media representation’ business, stated: “During the period a settlement was entered into with the director whereby he would pay £300,000 in full and final settlement of his overdrawn Directors Loan Account.

“The director failed to adhere to the payment plan and only one instalment was received.

“A statutory demand was served on the Director with a view to petitioning for his bankruptcy. He subsequently agreed to sell his matrimonial home and provide the remainer of the amount owed under the settlement agreement.”

Sway and Starting went into liquidation in December 2022.

But as Ant and Emilie’s house was not a company asset, it means they are free to keep any profit left over after the £300,000 debt is cleared.

This could be as much as £1 million if it was bought without a mortgage.

Ant left the UK to move to Dubai last year after he was axed from SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2021.

While he was still on TV screens in the UK, however, he and Emilie had bought their Essex house and no expense was spared to spruce it up.

Their kitchen was made by bespoke company Stoneham, with prices starting at £40,000, and it was stocked with pricey Miele appliances.

Ant and Emilie added a huge floor-to-ceiling Wolf sub-zero fridge freezer, which had a price tag of around £20,000, and a trendy £5,000 trendy Wolf sub-zero wine cooler.

In 2021, Ant and Emilie were granted planning permission to build an orangery on the back of the property. This is likely to have set them back £50,000.

Following Ant’s axe from SAS: Who Dares Wins, the family relocated to Australia so he could star in a format of the show Down Under.

Ant fronted four runs of SAS: Australia, however, plans for a 2024 series of the show never materialised.

Meanwhile, las month it was revealed Ant had been kicked off The Amazing Race Australia before the series had even aired after a row involving his brother led to the pair being disqualified.

The duo were sent home mid-production after Ant’s brother Dan allegedly became involved in a heated off-camera argument.
