[i Will Not Promote] Natural Pistachio Butter From Turkey — Would It Work In The Us/eu?

I’ve been thinking about taking a family business to the next level — and I’d love your take on whether this idea has real potential internationally. (I will not promote — just looking for honest feedback.)
We’re based in Gaziantep, Turkey, and have been producing 100% natural pistachio butter for over 15 years. No additives, just roasted pistachios. It's a local favorite and a part of everyday breakfast culture here.
We’re currently expanding our production facility and I’m exploring the idea of turning this into a global brand — starting with the US and EU markets. The product line includes:
- Natural breakfast-style pistachio butter
- Dessert-style pistachio cream
- Sweet pistachio spreads (no artificial ingredients)
We had a light export experience during the Dubai chocolate trend (we produced 7 tons of pistachio filling that reached Canada through intermediaries), but this would be our first time doing it directly.
My questions for the community:
- Do you think there's room in the market for a high-quality pistachio spread?
- Would you position it as a breakfast product, dessert ingredient, or something else?
- What channels would you test first — Amazon, specialty stores, food expos, local reps?
- Any tips on how to stand out from almond, cashew, or peanut-based products?
