Plaza Premium Lounge Reopens At London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 Arrivals

LONDON, UK – Plaza Premium Group (PPG), global leader in integrated airport hospitality services, has announced the reopening of its Plaza Premium Lounge at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3. After being temporarily closed for refurbishment, the lounge has been revamped with a new design that reflects contemporary London spirit, offering a serene and comfortable space for passengers arriving or transferring at Heathrow.
Located just outside the Arrivals Hall and adjacent to Aerotel London, PPG’s in-terminal hotel, the lounge is strategically placed to cater to both leisure and business travellers. Whether travellers are arriving from long flights or preparing to depart, the lounge provides essential services to help them refresh, recharge, or catch up on work. It features seven shower rooms, each fully equipped with shower gel, shampoo, bath towels, and hair dryers. Additional amenities include dedicated workspaces, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and packages starting from £29, which also include a continental breakfast, light lunch, coffee, tea, and soft drinks.

The Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3 is the first in the UK to showcase PPG’s “Art of Travel” campaign. This innovative project uses AI technology to reinterpret classic masterpieces, representing PPG’s core services such as airport lounges, meet-and-greet concierge, and in-terminal hotels. The digital art collection offers a unique experience, allowing passengers to gain insight into PPG’s commitment to service excellence and attention to detail.
Key airlines operating at Terminal 3 include Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and Finnair, with the terminal primarily serving long-haul flights.
A key aspect of the Plaza Premium Lounge is its accessibility. Traditionally, arrival lounges were reserved only for First Class passengers or offered by a limited number of airlines. However, the pay-per-use option for the Plaza Premium Lounge is a game-changer. It caters to a wider range of passengers, especially those arriving on red-eye flights, providing them a space to recharge and freshen up upon early-morning arrivals in London.
Mario Binelli Mantelli, Vice President, Northern Europe & UK of Plaza Premium Group, shared: “We wish all passengers to feel that every arrival is an occasion to celebrate, offering a sense of renewal with all the inclusive amenities we offer.”
Gary Peacock, Head of Property Asset Management & Commercial Telecoms at Heathrow Airport, added: “We are pleased to welcome Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge back to Terminal 3. Heathrow is committed to delivering exceptional service for passengers, and this addition offers even more choice for travellers to relax, refresh, or work before continuing their onward journeys.”
This reopening reflects PPG’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel experience in the UK, underscoring its strong presence at Heathrow. With a total of five lounges and one in-terminal hotel across Terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5, PPG continues to serve passengers with its world-class facilities at one of the world’s most important aviation hubs.
