LOS ANGELES – KPC Development Company has marked a major milestone in the construction of Kali Hotel and Rooftop, Autograph Collection, with the topping out of the $300-million, 300-room property at Hollywood Park. Scheduled to open in September 2026, the hotel will be the only hospitality development permitted within the Hollywood Park Specific Plan and a key addition to the largest urban mixed-use project under construction in the Western United States.

The topping out ceremony, symbolized by the placement of a ceremonial steel beam, confirmed the completion of the hotel’s structural framework. Attendees included leaders from the City of Inglewood, builder Clayco, Hollywood Park, and KPC Development.

Strategic location within Los Angeles’ entertainment district

Situated next to SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater, and within walking distance of Intuit Dome, Kia Forum, and the forthcoming Hollywood Park Studios, Kali Hotel is strategically positioned to serve guests attending major sporting and entertainment events, as well as business travelers and Inglewood residents.

“Kali Hotel represents KPC’s inaugural luxury project in Los Angeles, with more developments planned for the market,” said Dr. Kali P. Chaudhuri, Chairman and Founder of KPC Development Company. “We broke ground less than 11 months ago on this project driven by vision and passion. Today’s ceremony demonstrates substantial progress on what is the only hospitality destination of its kind in Greater Los Angeles. The hotel has already received great interest ahead of premier sporting events in 2027 and beyond.”

Upon completion, the 12-story hotel will feature:

  • 300 guestrooms, including 34 suites.
  • A 12th-floor restaurant and rooftop bar offering panoramic views.
  • A signature all-day dining venue, lobby bar, spa, fitness center, pool, and yoga deck.
  • Nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The property will be managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts and will join Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, aligning with the brand’s reputation for distinctive, design-driven independent hotels. Interiors are being developed by Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence in collaboration with Gensler, while the Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC) leads architectural design.

Part of Hollywood Park’s larger vision

Hollywood Park, spearheaded by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke, is transforming into a multi-use hub with residential, retail, entertainment, and commercial components. The development will also host Hollywood Park Studios, a state-of-the-art film and production complex, which is set to serve as the International Broadcast Center for the 2028 global sporting event. Meanwhile, the nearby NFL Los Angeles headquarters has been designated the Main Press Center, further establishing the site as a focal point for media and technology.

For travel and hospitality professionals, the debut of Kali Hotel and Rooftop underscores the role of mixed-use urban developments in reshaping destination hospitality, linking luxury accommodations directly to entertainment, sports, and global events.
