Changes coming to Disney's Florida parks in 2025
The theme park battle is ramping up. With Universal preparing to open its highly anticipated Epic Universe park, Disney is rolling out updates across all four of its Florida parks in 2025.
  • Universal Orlando's new theme park, Epic Universe, will offer Express Passes for guests to skip lines at participating rides and attractions.
  • The park will feature five themed lands: Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, and Super Nintendo World.

Along with being among its first visitors, guests of Universal's new Epic Universe theme park can also bypass long-ride queues.

Express Passes are now available for Universal Orlando's new theme park, giving parkgoers the ability to skip the regular line at participating rides and attractions for an additional fee.

"These exciting upgrades will give guests the opportunity to maximize their fun and time at Universal Epic Universe, which promises to be one of the most immersive and innovative theme parks ever created," the theme park said in a press release, announcing other products guests can add on to their admission.

Epic Universe theme park will officially debut on Thursday, May 22. It will be located in Universal's new south campus, located about 15 minutes from its existing parks. The official address is 4700 E. Sand Lake Road in Orlando.

Guests with tickets to Universal Epic Universe can now book a guided VIP Tour of the park, which comes with exclusive perks like priority access to all attractions and shows and more.

Universal also announced that, with My Universal Photos, guests will be able to receive images captured by professional photographers in the park and on participating attractions all in one place to access for download.

The service starts at $89.95 in addition on top of park tickets. Guests can also purchase prints as a keepsake for the adventures they experience during their visit.

As of March 2025, guests can purchase single-day admission or multi-day ticket packages to Epic Universe.

Single-day tickets are available for stays starting Sunday, June 1. Single-day tickets to Epic Universe start at $139 and can go up to $199 during peak periods. Annual pass holders can purchase single-day tickets at a discounted price.
