Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort Appoints New General Manager

Hilton has announced the appointment of Jorge Madrigal as the new General Manager of the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort. A seasoned hospitality professional with over 30 years of experience, Madrigal will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s day-to-day operations, including guest services, staff management, and strategic planning. Additionally, he will continue to serve as the Complex General Manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.

Madrigal’s career in hospitality began in 1984 when he took on various management roles at Sheraton properties in Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. In 2010, he was promoted to Complex Hotel Manager for both The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. Joining Hilton in 2017, Madrigal took on the role of complex general manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa and Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street.
An active participant in both the hospitality industry and local community, Madrigal is involved with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA), the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Lauderdale.
This appointment comes shortly after the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort’s multimillion-dollar renovation, which was completed in October 2024. The extensive updates included redesigned public spaces, refreshed guest suites and meeting venues, and an updated menu at the resort’s signature dining establishment, Allison Restaurant & Bar.
