Global Leaders To Converge In Paris For A World For Travel Summit 2025

In an era defined by climate urgency, geopolitical shifts, and evolving traveller expectations, the global travel and tourism industry faces mounting pressure to transform. Against this backdrop, more than 80 global leaders will gather in Paris from October 29–31, 2025, for the 6th edition of the A World for Travel Summit, a high-level event dedicated to redefining the future of sustainable tourism.
This year’s edition convenes government officials, CEOs, academics, and changemakers for three days of strategic discussions focused on real-world solutions. Topics will span climate resilience, regenerative tourism, digital transformation, and the impact of geopolitical instability on global mobility. The event underscores the urgency of innovation, accountability, and cross-sector collaboration in advancing sustainable growth across the tourism value chain.

A major highlight will be the keynote by Boston Consulting Group, titled “10 Forces Reshaping Global Business”, which will explore Europe’s role in a rapidly changing world order. Gabriel Attal, Member of Parliament and former Prime Minister of France, will reflect on the continent’s positioning amid ongoing geopolitical disruption.
Other prominent voices include Aziz Abu Sarah, CEO of MEJDI Tours and a globally recognised peacebuilder, who will share how tourism can be leveraged to bridge divides and foster mutual understanding in conflict zones.
The summit will also welcome senior executives from a broad spectrum of global stakeholders including Accenture, BCG, IKEA, ICF, Air France/KLM, Club Med, Radisson Hotel Group, Booking.com, Amadeus, and Trip.com Group, alongside representatives from key international organisations such as FIFA, GBTA, WTTC, GTTP, and the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance.
“If we are to make tourism truly sustainable, we must combine innovation, accountability, and global cooperation,” stated Christian Delom, Secretary General of A World for Travel. “These summits bring together diverse perspectives, from policymakers to entrepreneurs, to foster collaboration and accelerate progress.”
Over two days of panel discussions, workshops, and closed-door meetings, delegates will explore climate strategies, the use of AI in reshaping visitor experiences, and the future of sustainable luxury and regenerative travel. A gala dinner cruise on the Seine, by invitation only, will serve as both a celebration and a call to action, featuring an awards ceremony recognising innovation and leadership in sustainable tourism.
Now in its sixth edition, A World for Travel continues to evolve as a global platform shaping how tourism responds to the defining challenges of our time.
