Disney Guests Will Have Their Pick Of Water Parks This Summer, For The First Time In Years

For the first time since the pandemic, both of Walt Disney World's water parks will be open to guests this summer.
Disney has seen demand for its water parks swell since it began offering free water park entry to its resort hotel guests on their check-in date, at the start of this year. Its decision to open up a second water park is partly in response to guests' requests.
Here are the dates for Disney World guests to know:
- On May 21, Blizzard Beach will reopen and stay open through Sept. 7, nearly a week after Labor Day. At that point, Typhoon Lagoon will remain open for the rest of its previously scheduled season.
Typically, Disney water park tickets cost $74 for guests ages 10 and older and $68 for children between the ages of 3 and 9. Lower prices and product offerings are available outside of summer and for annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.
Tickets to Typhoon Lagoon's after-hours event, Disney H2O Glow After Hours, will be priced differently and go on sale to the public April 4.
Yes. Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels this year may visit a Disney water park for free on their check-in date.
Only registered guests are eligible for this benefit, which is not transferable and only valid on their date of hotel arrival.
