Yogasix Puts Mobility In Motion With New Class

YogaSix is stretching into the mobility space with Y6 Mobility, a new class that reimagines yoga with mobility drills to support joint health and flexibility
Yoga has long been a gateway to better balance and flexibility, but now, one yoga franchisor is stepping it up: YogaSix.
The Xponential Fitness-backed boutique yoga brand is launching Y6 Mobility, a new class format to help members move better through increased joint flexibility and range of motion.
Described as “yoga reimagined” and designed for all, the instructor-led Y6 Mobility incorporates yoga-based flows and movements with targeted mobility drills to address the hips, shoulders, ankles and lower back. The new class includes traditional yoga props such as blocks and straps but also introduces Mobility Balls to improve joint stability, flexibility and coordination.

Participating YogaSix studios will host Y6 Mobility preview events throughout May and June so new and returning members can experience the latest class addition firsthand.
“Mobility training is the next evolution in functional fitness, and Y6 Mobility was created to meet that need in a format only YogaSix can deliver with a fun, welcoming class that makes everyone feel open, strong and unstoppable,” YogaSix president Kelly Turner said. “We’re eager to introduce our innovative Y6 Mobility class to our YogaSix network to help our members unlock better movement and long-term strength.”
The boutique yoga franchise is also hoping to use social media to spotlight the importance of mobility, inviting individuals to share a short video or written story explaining their “why” using the hashtag #WhyY6Mobility. Select posts may be featured on YogaSix’s national social channels.
