Franchise icon and undisputed greatest Golden State Warrior of all time Stephen Curry looks to have decided to become a Warrior for life.

The Warriors and Curry have finalized a two-year, $116 million contract extension that keeps the legendary guard in the Bay Area through the 2028-29 season, as first reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The deal, which includes a player option for the final year, reflects a modest discount from the $136.7 million maximum Curry was eligible to command. This financial flexibility aids Golden State’s front office as they work to balance a competitive roster alongside fellow veterans.

By extending through his 20th campaign, Curry further solidifies his intention to complete his entire professional career with the franchise that drafted him in 2009. A four-time NBA champion, two-time league MVP, and the league’s all-time leader in three-point makes, the 38-year-old superstar remains the centerpiece of the Warriors’ identity.
