The 2026 Miami Dolphins Games You Are Most Excited About

With pre-season for our Miami Dolphins beginning next week and the regular season just around the corner, I asked the following question(HERE):

Which three Miami Dolphins games are you most excited to watch/most looking forward to this coming season and why?

Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

MiamiItaliano has me wondering, why the Vikings?

Raiders, Jets and Vikings

I Hate Sports says these three because we can probably take them down.

Raiders, Jets, Jets…. only 3 games we have a shot at winning.

Lefty5150 starts with an easy one and ends with a battle of the coaches. I, too, am very interested in the first game to see how well this staff gets this team to go out and play in a game that requires a long flight across the country.

The Raiders, Colts and Chiefs. The Raiders because it’s the opener and the Fins have a real shot. The Colts because I will be there and these two teams have been mired in mediocrity since Manning and Marino. The Chiefs because I want to see a battle of the coaching staffs and I smell an upset!

D.A is just coming out of a long slumber. Boy, are they going to be disappointed.

Any 3 that Marino plays in. We are still in the 90s right? I just woke up

PA phinphan is one of those one-game-at-a-time fans.

I am most looking forward to the first game of the season. I mean it’s the first flipping game of the season. Also, will the Dolphins beat a team, IMO, that they should?

The second game is also the second game that I am excited for. How will the Dolphins stack up against a better team? Although, the Niners have their own share of questions.

Finally, game three tops my list. How does the coaching staff handle going against arguably a top three head coach of this century? Will they be outclassed/outsmarted?

In reality, all the games excite me. It’s my favorite professional team playing in them. I am always excited even when the outlook is bleak.

phinette23 wants to see what McDaniel brings against his former team.

Chargers, for obvious reasons and to check out the guy we passed on.

Bengals, to see the guy we tried to tank for in action.

Packers, not just to see Hafley against his former team but also to check out Jordan Love the other QB we passed on in 2020.

JUK is another who wants to see what McDaniel has elsewhere.

Raiders – let’s see how we look week 1. One thing for sure, it can’t be a bigger letdown than week 1 last year.

Jets (home) – on paper in August the most winnable game on the schedule

Chargers – part of me is scared Mike is going to be really good there with a head coach to take care of the culture, and part of me thinks Herbert’s weaknesses are what you need to do well in Mike’s system. Will be fascinating to see how we match up

Dolfanjoe wants to see some games where we can play the spoiler.

The Chiefs at home early in the heat ! Watch that fat pig Kelsy lose 15 lbs. and suck on oxygen. Then of course second to last game is Buffaloe, Gives us a chance to play spoiler maybe give the east title to N.E. Then the last game against N. E . Give us a chance to knock them out of the AFC East title. Guage our development for the upcoming 27 season !

SuperG! wants to see what we can do against our exes.

I’ll pick the Lions, Vikings and Chargers just to see us going against our ex-HCs. With the Chargers it’ll be a 2 for 1 since Gase has returned to coaching for them as well.

StanleyDoyle1 has three games picked out that will show how this team and certain players have grown (or not) from the start of the season.

1. The last game at New England. This season they may win 2 games. But by the last game, we should see who will be the foundation for next year and the future. And they’ll be playing in the cold, which will show what kind of team this is.

2. The penultimate game at Buffalo. Same reasoning as #1: By this time, the rookies will have either flamed out or shown their metal. I predict this will be an upset game and will give reason for hope for the future.

3. Week 12 at the Jets. Willis will have started 10 games at this point. We should know, definitively, by his performance against the Jets — a team they could beat — whether he is what I think he is, or whether he surprises me and has shown growth into a complete QB.

Phoenix6 wants to watch the progress as the season goes along.

Week 5 – Bengals

Week 10 – Colts

Week 16 – Chargers

These three homer games in their intervals will be good tests, hopefully showing progression.

Plus they are very winnable!

Louie the lobster wants to see how the Dolphins fare against three of the best NFC teams.

Bears, Packers and Lions. All three are tough. Interested in seeing Haf going against his old team

Well, it seems as if everyone wants to either see what we have right out of the gate or how much better or worse this team looks as the season wears on.
