In this week’s reacts poll, we asked our readers what position would you like to see the Saints address next in free agency?

It seems that fans were closely divided on this one with 35% of voters saying that they would like to see the Saints sign a wide receiver and coming in second with 29% of the votes, fans would like a cornerback.

Wide receiver has been on many Saints fans’ wish list for a while especially since speedster Rashid Shaheed was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in November. However, with the departure of Alontae Taylor in free agency, cornerback is now a position of need in New Orleans.

The Saints currently have a little over $13M in cap space and are not nearly done acquiring players, according to head coach Kellen Moore. In addition to the several key players they have already signed, the Saints went into this offseason really focused on the future by making those deals very salary cap friendly. Unlike in the past, none of the contracts that have been signed by the team so far have included any void years.

It’s truly a new era in New Orleans, with a roster that is progressively getting better and younger so we will just have to be patient and stay tuned to see who the Saints will be adding next.
