Report: Steelers To Hire Scott Tolzien As Offensive Coordinator

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly filling another key spot on their coaching staff.

According to Derrick Bell of Steelers Now, the Steelers are going to hire Scott Tolzien as their offensive coordinator. Bell was also the first to report that Pittsburgh would be hiring Patrick Graham as its defensive coordinator.

Tolzien was the quarterbacks coach under Mike McCarthy with the Dallas Cowboys from 2023-24. He was also an assistant on the staff from 2020-22. Tolzien also played for McCarthy from 2013-15 as a backup to Aaron Rodgers. He currently serves as the quarterbacks coach for the New Orleans Saints.

As a player, Tolzien was in the NFL from 2011-17, serving as a backup for the San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, Packers, and Indianapolis Colts.
