WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — After three consecutive padded practices, the maximum allowed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the New York Giants won’t exactly rest on Thursday. They will not be in pads, but they are scheduled for a 2½-hour session in the eighth practice of training camp.

Here are a few things to watch:

  • Who will practice? Brian Burns and Beau Brade were held out of practice on Wednesday. Malachi Fields only did individual work. Dru Phillips left practice early. Coach John Harbaugh said all of those were minor injuries. Let’s see which of those players practices on Thursday.
  • Can Odell do it again? Odell Beckham has had two good practices in a row. Can he have another one as he continues his comeback bid? [Full story on Odell’s training camp]
  • Ben’s turn. Thursday should be Ben Sauls turn to kick in his highly-entertaining competition with Dominic Zvada for the placekicking job.

Remaining Greenbrier practice schedule

The Giants’ stay in West Virginia is winding down. There is only one more open practice after Thursday. So, if you are in the area you are running out of chances to see your favorite team practice.
