Nfl Schedule Leak: Steelers Week 3, Afc East Opponent Revealed

The Steelers schedule leaks are running rampant — as Kirk Minihane has reported that Pittsburgh will travel to face the New England Patriots in Week 3 of the 2025 regular season.

The Patriots have gotten the better of the Steelers in the last five meetings, with New England reigning victorious in four of those matchups.

Both the Steelers and Patriots have struggled to find successors to their long-time legendary QBs Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady, but Pittsburgh has managed to stay relevant in the playoff picture, while New England has had only one winning season since 2020.

The Black and Gold faithful are hoping HC Mike Tomlin can finally produce a playoff win in 2025 — with the Steelers having to settle for simply being above .500 in recent years.

Realistically, the Steelers have an easier-than-most pathway to a 3-0 start in their first three weeks — with matchups against the Jets, Seahawks, and Patriots all being winnable games in 2025.

However, Pittsburgh’s kryptonite has long been the pesky trap game — and the Week 3 Patriots matchup could very well fit the bill.
