The Denver Nuggets have taken a 2-1 lead into Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Ball Arena. The Thunder have had the upper hand for much of this series, but the Nuggets have executed better down the stretch to get their noses in front.

The Nuggets overturned an 11-point deficit in the final five minutes of Game 1 to clinch an unlikely 121-119 win. They then outclassed the Thunder in overtime in Game 3 to come away with a 113-104 victory. Sandwiched between these two games was a dominant 149-106 win for the Thunder in Game 2.

Those two backbreaking losses meant this Game 4 was close to being a must-win for the Thunder. They didn't start the game the way they'd have wanted offensively, though, scoring just 17 points in the first quarter. Thankfully for them, their opponents were even worse.

The Nuggets scored just eight points in the first quarter, going 2-for-22 from the field. They were incredibly sluggish on offense, but fans think that some bad officiating has played a part in this as well, and are up in arms.

"How do NBA refs still fall for Lu Dort’s flopping?" asked one fan.

"Guess the NBA refs are gonna allow Caruso to just jersey grab Jokic without a foul call. (Expletive) is that?" one fan said.

"Refs decided to make SGA the new James Harden and make him better than he really is by calling these (expletive) fouls," another fan stated.

"The refs calling all these fouls on both teams late," one fan complained.

"Refs want OKC to win. SGA got back his regular-season whistle," stated another fan.

"Refs gotta stop calling this (expletive) dawg it’s ruining the game real (expletive)," a fan bemoaned.

"Why do refs bail out SGA like that lol?" a fan asked.

The Nuggets did manage to get their act together on offense in the second quarter. They scored 28 points in the period and were only down 42-36 entering halftime. It will be interesting to see how the second half pans out.

A win for the Nuggets here would put them in the driver's seat with a 3-1 lead. A Thunder win, meanwhile, would see them reclaim home-court advantage and have a slight edge in this series.
