Movement Climbing Gyms Opens Fifth Bay Area Gym

Movement’s newest gym in Mountain View serves as a third space for climbing, fitness, yoga and connection
Movement Climbing, Yoga and Fitness has opened its latest gym in Mountain View, California—its fifth location in the Bay Area.
The 24,000-square-foot facility opened to the public this week at the northwest corner of San Antonio Road and El Camino Real, featuring bouldering terrain, a boutique-style yoga studio, a full suite of strength and cardio equipment, a community space for members and a dedicated gear shop.

“We’re thrilled to bring Movement to Mountain View and expand our community in the Bay Area,” Movement Mountain View director Ben Le said. “This gym will be more than just a place to climb and work out—it’s a space where people can challenge themselves, build confidence and connect with others who share a love for movement and adventure.”

“The camaraderie that one feels in a climbing and fitness facility is so markedly different from any other type of exercise or sport that I have ever come across that it becomes so encouraging to climb,” she said. “One of the beautiful things is that there are so many different ways to approach it that people of all different skill levels can engage in it together.”
