Michigan Football Cb Aamir Hall Gets Rookie Tryout With Detroit Lions

Almost every draft-eligible Wolverine found a new home in the NFL this offseason, with seven players being drafted and several others signing as undrafted free agents.
But not all.
One of the players who was left out was Aamir Hall, the transfer cornerback who spent time at Richmond and Albany. Hall was a starter and came on late to the point where he was locking down receivers from Ohio State and Alabama to close out his college career. But it wasn’t enough for an NFL franchise to take a chance on him.
However, with the reveal of the Detroit Lions rookie minicamp roster, it appears that the local team is taking a chance on Hall, as he has been invited to participate for a tryout with the defending NFC North champions.
I love seeing this roster in the spring. No idea who makes the team in a couple of months, but can imagine how excited these UDFAs are to get a shot. #Lionspic.twitter.com/ejahBnqjTf

Hall had two interceptions (one against the Buckeyes), four passes broken up, and a fumble forced in 2024 with the forced fumble coming in the ReliaQuest Bowl. He also had a sack and 2.5 tackles for loss.
Hall’s best game arguably came in the bowl game against the Crimson Tide, a team that went full-strength against the depleted Wolverines.
