Phase one includes indoor pickleball and tennis courts, with full fitness and wellness amenities set to open in 2026

Life Time has opened the first phase of its new 135,000-square-foot luxury athletic country club in the Boise suburb of Eagle, Idaho.

The initial rollout, which debuted May 21, centers on racquet sports, with nine indoor pickleball courts and six indoor tennis courts. A lounge viewing area and pro shop are also included in the first phase. The full club is expected to open in the summer of 2026.

Notably, Life Time CEO Bahram Akradi is an avid pickleball player and has made significant investments in the sport’s growth across the upscale country club, including more than 750 permanent courts and hundreds more planned. Life Time has also teamed up with tennis legend Andre Agassi and top pros Ben and Collin Johns to elevate its premium programming and content.

“The Boise area continues to experience rapid growth, presenting tremendous opportunity to serve the market with our unique health and wellness programs and services,” Life Time vice president of West Coast club operations Brian Gaeta said. “There is incredible excitement for Life Time and our premium offerings, and we look forward to serving the Boise community for years to come.”

Once completed, Life Time Eagle will feature a Beach Club with lap and leisure pools, a bistro, dedicated spaces for its popular group training programs, cardio and resistance equipment, free weights, and a stretching and recovery space with CryoLounge, HydroMassage and Normatec compression equipment.

Despite broader economic uncertainty, Life Time remains on solid footing, reporting an 18.3% year-over-year increase in first-quarter revenue and plans to open 10 to 12 new clubs annually.

“We continue to see increased member engagement, with visits and revenue per membership at new highs,” Akradi said. “The desirability of the Life Time brand is evident in our ongoing success in attracting and retaining increasingly higher quality memberships to our centers. Our balance sheet is strong, positioning us well to capitalize on the opportunities ahead.”

Prospective members can join the waitlist.
