With new lab testing, AI insights and dietitian access, Levels is evolving from a glucose tracker into a full-scale platform for personalized health optimization

Levels, the health tech company co-founded by Dr. Casey Means, President Trump’s nominee for U.S. Surgeon General, is expanding its vision of personal health optimization with the addition of comprehensive blood testing, access to insurance-covered registered dietitian nutritionists and AI-powered guidance.

The expanded offering lets Levels users choose between an essential 28-marker blood panel or a more advanced 100+ marker option covering hormones, inflammation and nutrient levels, providing deeper insight into their bio-data and linking test results to daily habits.

“Most people don’t just need more data—they need better direction,” Levels co-founder and president Josh Clemente said. “For more than five years, we’ve helped thousands of members understand their metabolic health in real-time. Now, we’re applying that same clarity to a broader set of health markers—with built-in testing, clear actionable guidance and human support baked in.”

The new updates follows Levels’ recent partnership with CrossFit, its first collaboration with a major fitness brand. The deal brings glucose tracking, lab testing and nutrition insights to CrossFit affiliates, giving athletes and coaches a clearer view of how lifestyle habits impact performance and recovery. It also reflects a broader shift toward the “gym as a clinic” model, as CrossFit leans into data-driven health tools across its network of 11,000 affiliates and 100,000 credentialed coaches.

Next up from Levels: protocol-based programs designed to walk members through structured health plans, retesting and goal-specific progress tracking.

“I see patients every day who are ready to feel better but don’t know where to begin,” said Dr. Anjali Dsouza, a board-certified integrative and functional medicine physician. “What they’re often missing is personalized data and clear, actionable guidance. Levels gives us both.”

That combination of data and direction, Dr. Dsouza said, is already making a tangible difference in patient outcomes.

“In one of my Metabolic Wellness Groups, a woman training for an ultramarathon completely shifted how she fueled based on her CGM insights—and ended up avoiding major energy crashes and recovering faster,” Dr. Dsouza added. “That kind of clarity is empowering. It helps take the guesswork out and gives women the tools to feel more in control of their health.”
