Giants Week 3 Injury Updates: Andrew Thomas A Full Go, Brian Burns Making Progress

Giants head coach John Harbaughprovided injury updates for Week 3 following Friday's practice.

LT Andrew Thomas

Thomas was a full participant in practice on Friday after being a non-participant on Thursday.

The left tackle, who is dealing with a groin injury that he suffered in Week 2 against the Rams, is expected to be ready to play against the Titans on Sunday.

LB Brian Burns

Burns wasn't in uniform during practice, but was doing work off to the side as he works toward a return from an ankle injury.

Harbaugh said Burns was doing "rehab stuff" but didn't elaborate much beyond that.

Barring a surprise, it doesn't seem likely that Burns will be available for Week 3.

WR Malik Nabers

Nabers, who said he popped his right shoulder back in after he injured it in the first quarter against the Rams, is on track for Week 3.

Speaking on Thursday, Nabers said an X-ray on the injury showed "good results."

When Harbaugh was asked on Friday if the injury could linger and possibly lead to a change in how the Giants use Nabers, he was vague -- but the head coach did not give any indication that adjustments were coming.

The kind of injury Nabers is dealing with can be tricky, a sports surgeon explained to SNY earlier this week.
