A former Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals linebacker is calling it a career.

Logan Wilson announced on his Instagram page that he is retiring from the NFL after six seasons, most of them coming with the Bengals. Cincinnati drafted him in the third round, No. 65 overall, in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Wyoming.

"From being a Wyoming kid with big dreams to hearing my name called in the third round of the 2020 Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals... football gave me more than I ever could have imagined," Wilson wrote.

"Cincinnati will always mean a lot to me. The teammates, coaches, staff and fans made those years unforgettable. That 2021 playoff run was something special - the interception in Tennessee to send us to the AFC Championship, beating Kansas City to win the AFC, and taking the field in the Super Bowl. Those moments and that locker room are something I'll carry with me forever. And the best part of all, my daughter was born there."

Wilson spent the first eight games of the 2025 season with the Bengals. On Nov. 4, the Bengals traded Wilson to the Cowboys for a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

"I'm also thankful for the opportunity to finish this season in Dallas and for the way that locker room welcomed me in," Wilson wrote.

Wilson played in seven games, including one start, for the Cowboys down the stretch of the 2025 season.

Many of his former Bengals teammates were quick to reply with congratulations on his Instagram post, including wide receiver Andrei Iosivas and running back Chase Brown.

Wilson played in a total of 83 games, 76 of which came in Cincinnati. He was a free agent this offseason after finishing out his deal with the Cowboys.
