Chris Pelnik, a former multi-unit Club Pilates franchise owner, has signed on to open up to 25 Glo30 locations as demand surges for aesthetics-driven wellness

Glo30, a membership-based skincare studio franchise, is bringing on board seasoned franchise operator Chris Pelnik as it looks to build its presence across key North Carolina markets.

The brand is betting on Pelnik’s proven health and wellness track record as a former multi-unit franchisee of Club Pilates to open up to 25 Glo30 locations in Raleigh-Durham and other North Carolina markets, including the Triangle, Triad, Mountain and Coastal regions.

Glo30 is known for its high-tech AI-powered skincare solutions and personalized treatments every 30 days, with the goal of bridging luxury day spas, medical clinics and med-spas while supporting long-term skin health.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Chris to the GLO30 family,” said Glo30 founder and CEO Dr. Arleen Lamba. “His proven experience in scaling health and wellness franchises, paired with his deep understanding of customer service and brand growth, make him the perfect partner to further Glo30’s expansion in North Carolina.”

In 2023, the company partnered with Fransmart, a franchise development firm, to accelerate its national growth. Glo30 currently operates five corporate locations and more than 100 studios in development across the U.S., with a goal of reaching 1,000 locations nationwide.

“Chris represents exactly the kind of experienced, high-caliber operator we’re proud to partner with as we expand the Glo30 brand,” said Fransmart CEO Dan Rowe.

“His success with Club Pilates proves he knows how to scale premium wellness concepts, and his decision to invest in Glo30 is a powerful validation of Glo30’s ability to attract the best in franchising,” Rowe added.

Demand for aesthetics-driven wellness spots like Glo30 is rising, with med-spas moving beyond Botox to address customers’ expanding skincare concerns like loose skin, collagen loss, facial volume changes and metabolic questions that require specific treatments beyond the injectables.

The Spa by Equinox Hotels is also tapping into the growing skincare market, recently launching BioRegenesis, a collaboration with Beverly Hills physician Dr. Robert Dorfman that marries regenerative skincare and performance-focused beauty. Dorfman’s offerings combine high-end facials with clinical tools such as microneedling, salmon DNA infusion, microcurrent, ultrasound, LED and cryotherapy, along with NutriDrip vitamins to boost skin health from within.
