Evaluating The Titans 2025 Nfl Draft Picks

The Tennessee Titans held onto the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft despite many offers to trade out. The Titans front office stood pat and stuck to their plan. In the end, Tennessee got their guy at the top and finished with seven picks. Here's how these players could fit into the Titans' system.

First round - QB Cam Ward

Ward was the Titans' guy for the entirety of the offseason and comes to Tennessee to be the team's franchise quarterback. Even if the Titans list Will Levis as the starter at the beginning of training camp, Ward will be the Week One starter and in charge of this offense.

Second round - EDGE Olu Oladejo

A 3-4 defense can never have enough pass-rushing outside linebackers. Oladejo isn't likely to start but should work into the rotation quickly as the team's No. 3 edge defender.

Third round - S Kevin Winston Jr.

Winston should push Amani Hooker and Xavier Woods for reps at safety. He might end up listed at the backup to Hooker and be in the fold to be a third safety in sub packages right away.

Fourth round - WR Chimere Dike

I did not have Dike with a draftable grade, so seeing him go off the board in the fourth shocked me. He's a slot option but isn't going to supplant Tyler Lockett.

Fourth round - TE Gunnar Helm

Helm is a great all-around tight end but is really first and foremost a receiver. We look for him to end up No. 2 on the depth chart and be the Titans primary move tight end.

Fourth round - WR Elic Ayomanor

Ayomanor is a much more talented receiver than Dike and has a real shot to split reps with Van Jefferson as a rookie, lined up opposite Calvin Ridley.

Fifth round - IOL Jackson Slater

Slater fell into a great situation as the primary backup to Peter Skoronski at left guard and Kevin Zeitler at right guard and learn the position from two of the best.

Sixth round - CB Marcus Harris

The Titans have their nickel corner with Roger McReady but Harris should be his backup and should be in a nice competition with a pair of undrafted free agents. If he isn't the No. 2, he might get stashed on the practice squad.

Sixth round - RB Kalel Mullings

Mullings should go into training camp competing with Julius Chestnut to be the team's No. 3 back. If he can't beat him out, he might end up on the practice squad.
