The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report of the week on Friday in advance of their Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles listedtwo player under DID NOT PARTICIPATE:Dallas Goedert and Hollywood Brown.

Goedert is expected to miss multiple games after suffering a knee injury in Week 2. The Eagles reportedly will NOT place Goedert on injured reserve, which suggests they’re expecting him to miss three games at most since putting him on IR would require him to miss at least four. With Goedert out, the Eagles will be relying on the trio of Zach Ertz, Johnny Mundt, and E.J. Jenkins at tight end. It’s not exactly clear how the snaps will shake out.

Brown is a new addition to the report. He missed Friday’s session due to an ankle injury. Brown was active for Week 1 but did not play any snaps. He saw a few designed touches on offense in Week 2. Now he’s in jeopardy of being ruled out for Week 3.

The Eagles listed four players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION:DeVonta Smith, Jonathan Greenard, Tank Bigsby, and Will Shipley.

Smitty was limited on Friday after not practicing on Thursday. That’s a step in the right direction. Guessing he’ll be available for Monday’s game.

Greenard was limited for the second day in a row. Guessing he’s not going to be suiting against the Bears. Even if he does, it would have to be a limited role.

Bigsby and Shipley returned to practice after missing Thursday. Looks like they’ll be ready to serve as depth behind Saquon Barkley. Speaking of …

The Eagles listed four players under FULL PARTICIPATION:Saquon Barkley, Jalen Carter, Andrew Mukuba, and Tyler Steen.

Barkley is on track to play after being limited on Thursday. We’ll see if he can make it through the entire game and avoid any ball security issues related to his stinger.

Saquon Barkley (stinger) said he’s feeling good this week. He got an MRI just to make sure there wasn’t any additional damage. He will be wearing that cowboy collar on Monday night.

Carter and Mukuba were also upgraded to full after being limited on Thursday. Barring any setbacks, they will play on Monday.

Steen was full go for the second day in a row.

CHICAGO BEARS INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)

The Bears listed four players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: starting quarterback Caleb Williams, backup quarterback Tyson Bagent, kicker Cairos Santos, and starting left guard Joe Thuney.

Williams and Bagent are tracking to miss Monday’s game, putting Case Keenum in line to start against the Eagles. The Bears could look to temporarily elevate undrafted rookie Moss Miller from the practice squad to be Keenum’s backup in this game.

Santos missing two straight practices suggests the Bears could be without their kicker. But since they’ve yet to sign another one or even host tryouts, it seems like they think he’s going to play … albeit at less than 100%.

Thuney was resting on Friday. He’ll be ready for Monday’s game.

The Bears listed three players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: starting cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, linebacker Noah Sewell, and defensive lineman Shemar Turner.

Stevenson was upgraded from DNP on Thursday to limited on Friday. Seems like he has a chance to play. We’ll find out more about his status on Saturday’s final injury report.

Sewell and Turner are ineligible to play in this game while still on injured reserve.

The Bears listed two players under FULL PARTICIPATION: 1B running back Kyle Monangaiand starting defensive tackle Grady Jarrett.

Monangai was listed under DNP on Thursday but it looks like he’ll be ready to play after being upgraded to full on Friday.

Jarrett was listed as resting on Thursday.
