Stripe Took $80k

Location: Washington and Florida 2024 Long story short is we do a LOT of ticket sales for shows all over the country. We are based out of Washington and recently moved the business to Florida.

We were forced by Humanitix to start using Stripe as our payment processing platform because of how many sales we did, they couldnt keep up with them.

Well after a few months we noticed we didnt see enough money in our bank. So we crunched the numbers and discovered that we were missing about $80,000 to $100,000. The money is clearly being made after fees, but it wasnt being deposited into our account.

Humanitix blames Stripe, and Stripe blames Humanitix.

We dont care who is at fault, all we know is its missing. We have hired accountants and even one who specializes in forensic accounting, and they all agree that this money is missing.

We have sent emails and made phone calls and so far, there is no answers. Ive reached out to countless attorneys and also no luck.

Can anyone please help us? We have no idea where to go at this point.

Editing to add - the attorneys have mostly been big names ive seen on billboards, or ones recommended to me by friends and family. Every says it looks like we have a case, but thats where it ends. Im wondering if there is a specific attorney type i should be looking up? Maybe im reaching out to the wrong attorneys?
