Need Urgent Advice On How To Take Action If I Can

Hi everyone im from California and I need advice , today a vehicle of mine was impounded due to “extremely out of date registration” it was parked right in front of my house on the public street so that’s that but the citing traffic officer told me someone called it in saying it had “been there a while” little backstory on this car It’s been with my family before I was even born with my family when they moved into the neighborhood (cul de sac) we live all the way to the end so anyways its been there for over 20+ years everyone who’s ever lived on the street moved in would know where it’s parked all the time so when I obtained it from my father in 2023 I used it my senior year of hs and by summer the truck was in major need of repairs engine rebuild and all that fun stuff so the repair it’s self took a while 2 years to be honest and I had only gotten my car back for about a month but I had been moving it back and forth making sure the engine would run for a few minutes of the day now parking enforcement does come through our neighborhood and our cul de sac but to see the tags on this car you literally have to be blocking someone else’s driveway or in their driveway at a point so my question is a enforcement officer will mainly look for abandoned charismatics and stuff but this car had only been a month and someone reported it “abandoned sitting for a while” so is their any way I can take any legal action for any of this It caused me to miss work , have a financial burden I was not able to handle with other things going on (I have obtained my vehicle back)
