My Dad May Be A C.p.

Location: northern Michigan

My father is 58 years old. Recently it was brought to my attention that two of his wife’s daughters were attempting to bring charges against him for sexual assault that happened when they were kids.

The backstory. My father met his wife when I was 14. I moved out on my own at 16. Apparently this happened around that time.

Recently his wife abruptly left him and I’m assuming it was due to these new things coming to light.

I have a couple of incidents from the past that make sense now if all of this is true. My father also uses a YouTube account tied to an old email of mine. After cutting him off I went into it and he has been watching videos of kids in pools, at the beach, and doing like dance/cheerleading stuff. I have not found anything illegal yet.

My question is, aside from taking him out myself, is there anything I can do legally? All I would have is my own word and memory of things that happened almost 20 years ago.

I am absolutely disgusted and have been trying to figure out how to handle this so those girls get justice and he faces some type of punishment.

Any advice is appreciated.
