My Case Manager Sounds Drunk/on Drugs.... What Can I Do?
I was injured in an auto accident so hired a law firm. Each time I speak with my case manager she talks really fast in a low voice, slurs a bit and repeats the same question. For example when we last spoke she kept asking me "how are you?" repeatedly when I'm pretty sure I just answered her a few seconds prior. But what really worries me is that she doesn't follow through with my medical treatments. For example I consulted a pain management doctor who recommended I see an orthopedic surgeon. That was a month ago yet she never scheduled it. When I called her asking why I hadn't heard anything she says "do you want to see the surgeon?" and I said yeah and she says she will schedule it then. But why did she wait a month to do it and only when I called to ask about it? If she's not drunk or on something maybe she's just incompetent.
So what can I do? Do I tell my lawyer about this and hope they recorded calls to verify what I said? I'm kinda worried if I report her he might take offense and drop my case.
