Just Found Out I Bought A Branded Title
My husband and I bought a car from a second hand dealer in our town in Florida a year ago. Well we bought a lemon and got got hard unfortunately. They must have done something to shut off the warning lights that come on the dash because a couple days later several came on. We've had major issues with it since we got it. Now we are at a place where we are trying to trade it in for a new car and the dealer ran a car fax and we found out the car had a branded title. At the dealer we got the car from they gave us a car fax that said we were the second owner (we're the fourth) and said it was a clean title. Turns out this car was a fleet car and the mileage was rolled back by at least 100,000 which is why it's got a branded title. Is there anything we can do to sue the dealer we got it from? Know we have to look at the papers we signed. Its just been a huge money drain. We've put almost 5000 into the damn car and its not even worth that.
