Husband Arrested On Fta

For context: 3 years ago my husband was ticketed for a move over violation in LOCATION: GA. Looking back now it was stupid that he wanted to fight it but we didn’t have the money for the ticket and the GSP wanted to try to claim he was almost hit (he wasn’t) and that was not put on the ticket. First court appearance he pled not guilty. They said they would set a later court date and for months we called about it. I’m assuming at this point it goes to superior court. Anywho for months we never heard anything. 3 years later and my husband was arrested on a bench warrant tbat was issued March of this year. We were never notified by mail or anything of a court date. I mean we thought the judge had just thrown it out if we were being honest. So now he’s sitting in jail waiting for a court date. I am going to try to contact a lawyer tomorrow as it’s been the weekend. Does anyone have any other advice? Any of their own personal experiences? Anything is helpful at this point. We just want him home as soon as possible. Magistrate could not grant him bail. No judgment please this is hard enough
