High School Student Is Threatening To Share Images Of Another Minor.

Location: Nebraska. A high school aged student has been threatening to post explicit images of a 15 year old I am related to. I have screenshots of the texts, in which he continuously tries to pressure her into sexting or video chatting while he masturbates, threatening to send her nudes to people if she doesn't comply. He is also pressuring her into finding other girls to do this to. He has refused to delete any messages when she's asked, or give back and forth on whether he actually did delete them when she begs him too. My initial thoughts are to contact the parents of the other teenager involved. What steps should I take to protect my family member (assume I am the parent/guardian) besides screenshots of the Instagram chat? Should I contact the parents, go to the police or look into getting a lawyer? My family has never been involved in legal matters before and we are out of our depths here. Please let me know if I need to include more details.
