My spouse’s workplace is abysmal. Im handling the legal side while they continuously gather evidence.

I’ve already filed several osha complaints but they tried to pass it off to another department when I called them. I filed anyway. I don’t have high hopes for them. If they change anything, it won’t be enough.

I am prepared to send a list of demands to whomever will read them. If change and accountability don’t happen, I’ll escalate. I have plenty of evidence, and more on the way.

I’m not looking for a payout. I’m looking for safe, fair, legal working conditions and restitution for the neglect toward every single employee.

I will not stop, my very last resort is TikTok, I have many TikTok resources. But that’s last resort because that will blast my face everywhere.

My most important goal is to keep my spouse safe. They want to remain anonymous and want to continue to work without the case hanging over their head, even with retaliation laws. I will be the face.

How do we stay anonymous?

I already spoke to one law firm, they said they were unable to help, but encouraged me to contact other legal council, but that may just be a generic message. I’ve already reached out to three more lawyers.

I am discouraged the first lawyer didn’t take the case. Did they not take the case because it wouldn’t make them enough money? Is it hurting our case by not being concerned with money, just reimbursement for illegal financial activity?

I’m not sure all the steps between now and the last resort. I’ve never made demands to such a huge entity. It’s terrifying.

Would I have better luck finding a lawyer who requests payment up front? I need so much guidance on where to go next if these three other lawyers also turn me down.
