Getting Evicted

Location: Iowa | My friend, her bf,her 2 yr old and I moved into a trailer in March of this year. (Her bf and I are on the lease.) We did the deposit process before we moved in which wasn’t bad at all since she gave us a “discount”. In the start of the process she read through all the rules and regulations w us every page and any other information she was to let us know about. Our landlord seems to be very forgetful for starters, April rent she had given us a completely different total than what she had told us to begin with. We had talked and said she thought we moved into to a different trailer. It was fixed. April rent comes a long and I myself get the money orders in to her. She had mentioned to me that to make it easier on our end, to get on the portal website for payments so I wouldn’t have to come in. I had mentioned that my roommates boyfriend had not got the email that she said she sent but had sent it to a completely different email.(that took my friend multiple times of telling her the right one through messages and on call). So I had wrote down the actual email it needed to be sent to.Supposedly right then and there it was sent. For the Month of May Our landlord had strongly encouraged the trailer court to stop doing money orders and go digital on a portal website which also charges a $30 fee when using credit/debit. Money orders were easier but a headache because when she claimed she was always available but she wouldn’t answer calls/emails/text/or rarely be in the office. My friend had told me a week before May rent was due that she had yet to receive the email and this was the only way to get into the website. So she gave her a couple calls, texts, emails about how to get in if she could resend it. We didn’t receive an answer till the 2nd of May. She got her set up finally staying on the phone I’m guessing. When she got into the website it stated that we owe 200+ our original rent. Fees were late fee($120), water, sewer (that we were told were included in the rent?), and a force mow of $85. Which we were not notified before hand and I just remembered her saying it was strict policy for grass but we’ve thought we’ve always kept up to par and when it wasn’t we were waiting on the lawn mower so there wasn’t anytime she needed to force mow. So now my friend is in the process of wanting to sue her. Our court date is July 2nd .. does anyone think we will actually get evicted?
