Ex-wife Mail Delivered - Home Loan In Different State
Location: Wisconsin
I am going through a divorce. My spouse and I are legally separated. She was awarded temporary full custody of our 4 year old daughter.
My spouse unilaterally moved out of of the marital home into a rental unit and has been taking our daughter to her local school in town. I have a motion for sanctions against her for violating the FFCL by denying my access to our daughter. The hearing is not in the end of April. We also have a GAL hearing at the end of April where the GAL will make placement and custody recommendations to the court.
We are in the process of selling the marital home. I have offered timelines to sell the home but she has not responded. We are currently splitting mortgage and utilities and I am still residing in the home.
My spouse is still receiving mail at our marital residence. I have established a routine of dropping off her mail at supervised visits with my daughter.
This weekend my spouse received a letter from a bank in Illinois. I did not open it but I can see clearly in the address window the letter is in regards to her home loan application in Illinois.
I am very concerned she is attempting to buy a house in Illinois and will take my daughter.
What recourse can I take with this information? Am I allowed to bring this information to my lawyer and/or the GAL?
Any advice appreciated!
