Desperate Need Advice Young And New

LOCATION: CALIFORNIA: HIT AND RUN NEED ADVICE pls! hii so backstory first! i’m a 22yr old female working for a big major grocery store company, i was driving an electric scooter yk for old people and disabled people unable to get there groceries so this guy pulled up beside me and asked me to bring him the cart for his dad i said yes so i made a u turn (5 spaces away from where i was at) but he was backing up into the handicap parking so i was parked waiting behind some of the cars in the very front part of the store, so handicap parking and thought let me wait till he’s done backing up in the parking spot so i don’t get hit and can turn it closer so he can grab the cart so as im waiting ( i do pull out my phone and check it but im parked behind this car, this is where i feel i might be liable and at fault) mind you i am PARKED behind a car lights were off and they just started backing up into me they did bump into me and felt it but kept going a lil bit more and half the cart was in the air someone had to run to her window and bang on it to tell her to stop the car! i went to her window she didn’t get out but rolled it down&blamed me & asked if i hit her car first while she was backing up? she was upset but i told her my cowokers had witnessed it and she tried insinuating since i worked with them they’d take my side automatically take my side i then told her it was ok whatever since i didn’t feel it then i went to report it she left without sticking around giving me any of her info work found it cuz of info in the store and her picture in video but the pain didn’t hit me till my break and my left side is just a little sore the work nurse told me to rest which i am and to take over the counter medication for inflammation but should i push to see doctor?? i did file a police report and told them i do wanna press charges but would it be worth it?? since I WAS ON MY PHONE (YES IT WAS ON FILM) AND YES THE POLCIE HAVE IT ALREADY but is it worth me going to court I AM AM VERY scared they won’t believe me or i will win because of me parked and on my phone! two managers did encourage me to file a report for hit and run and they would hand them the footage.
