Child Sexual Abuse

Location: Texas. On April 14,2025, my son (4 yo) verbalized in great detail that his dad is sexually abusing him. We went through the process with CPS and they couldn’t find enough proof to charge him due to an inconclusive CAC meeting. The CPS investigator lied throughout the investigation and didn’t give the police investigator all of the evidence. I reached out to the police investigator myself, submitted it, and he reviewed them. It is still pending. That was early May and he will not return any of my phone calls or speak to me regarding son’s case after several attempts to reach him. Is there a way for me to have the investigators looked into or request a new investigator? I am not legally allowed to keep my son from his dad and I am having to put my son in danger or go to prison for protecting him from his father. My son has a hard time speaking up now since his dad is scaring him into not saying anything. There’s a lot more details and proof to back everything up, it’s just too much to add to this post. My son speaks up to me because I am his safe space but he’s scared of his teachers and the police now and he won’t speak up to anyone. He’s in weekly therapy but he hasn’t made an outcry to her yet. CPS is corrupt and this investigator works closely with them. I am afraid that I am being blown off because the CPS investigator doesn’t like me due to me speaking up about her incompetence.
