Can The Ymca Prohibit A Pride Themed Class?

Location: Nebraska
I am a cycling instructor at a very large YMCA in Nebraska which resides in a mostly conservative town (shocker). We have freely been able to and encouraged to promote our class themed rides, special playlists, etc. through an unofficial but connected group fitness page. Ive had zero issues with any of my theme rides until now. I recently promoted a Pride Ride (self explanatory, Pride anthem music) on June 1st, which was immediately met with a removal of my announcement and a verbal slap on the wrist for being too “political”. I was annoyed but not surprised. A week later I used the same content, but removed the label of the “pride Ride” and replaced it with a very straightforward “Friday night ride”. However, there were still rainbow colors included in the content. It was immediately removed and I am now required to attend a meeting to address this. Are they as an institution allowed to draw a line here or do I have any pushback power to shift this boundary they’re drawing? Does discrimination play a part in this?
