Advice For Teen
Location: Dallas TX
My 15 year old son has been falsely accused of sexual assault by a fellow classmate. Thank goodness he had undeniable proof that that classmate was going to accuse him because he was distancing himself from her (she is toxic). This is all happening at High school, so far no real police complaint has been filed. I contacted the school admin last week and reported this and they are actively investigating. It’s been over a week and no response from the school, my child and the accuser have been interviewed by admin. Per their advice my son has not discussed with anyone the accuser, however, is doing the opposite. Purposefully perpetuated and spreading rumors about the accusations to anyone listening
What recourse as a parent do I have, we know for sure that the accusations are false. I feel the school is going too slow, should I go up to the district level or even hire a lawyer? I’m sickened because real victims exist and this girl is crying wolf and abusing the system.
