[california] Post Office Refuses To Even Make Delivery Attempts Now, Also Lies About It In Tracking. Is There Anything Else I Can Do Other Than Making A Verbal Complaint?

This entire situation is honestly weird and started within the last 2 and a half to 3 weeks. Before then, my mail was being delivered without any problems. I've also gone in person to the local post office and they assured me that my printed address is just fine.

So, there have been multiple delayed packages that are being forced into a pick up at post office situation. I wouldn't mind doing this except I don't have a car, my mailbox is on the street, and they've always delivered without any problems in the past before this started happening.

Today, they completely lied about a delivery attempt. I was home all day and have a view of my driveway and mailbox. Their reasoning for not delivering today is that the mailbox couldn't be accessed. Nothing blocking it. no problems with the street. I even walked down around the corner to check. Neighbor came home so obviously nothing blocking the street.

It's beginning to feel like discrimination at this point, but I'm not even sure if that's a thing for delivering. My neighborhood is nice we don't have any crime and as I've said, they've always delivered before now without any issues. In fact, I'm about five minutes from the office but can't walk because of the steep terrain.

Steps I've already taken: gone in person. I've also reached out to my local congressman's office, but I'm not sure what if anything can be done.

At this point I just want my mail to be delivered again to me.
