Truv Hires Chris Calcasola As Head Of Lending

After over seven years at Total Expert, Chris Calcasola is taking on the role as head of lending at Truv.

Calcasola confirmed the news via a LinkedIn post on Tuesday morning. “After an incredible 7 + years at Total Expert, it is time to turn the page and start a new chapter,” his post read. “Leaving behind a place where I’ve grown so much, built lasting friendships, and shared in some amazing milestones is not easy.”

The post continued, “That being said, I am also excited to announce I will be joining Truv as the Head of Lending. I am thrilled [about] what lies ahead and cannot wait to contribute, learn and grow in new ways.”

Truv, formerly known as Citadel API, is a Freddie Mac–approved mortgage technology company for both payroll verifications and consumer-permissioned income, as well as an authorized asset report supplier for Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter (DU) validation service.

Per its website, Truv covers more than 150 million Americans “with over 12,800 unique integrations to payroll providers, employers, and gig platforms.”

At Total Expert, Calcasola served as director of sales, enterprise, starting in July 2021. Before that, he held the role of enterprise account executive.
