Payload Integrates With Exp Realty Platforms

eXp Realty is partnering up with fintech platform Payload to provide agents and consumers with a fully integrated payment experience. 

According to an announcement on Friday, this integration with the Payload platform allows eXp to automate its entire suite of payment workflows, streamlining the management of funds for agents and consumers in the U.S. and Canada. The platform is integrated directly with eXp’s core systems, including its agent portal My eXp and its financial platform Oracle.

“This partnership is about more than just efficiency, it’s about elevating the entire transaction experience,” Jesse Hill, the chief financial officer at eXp Realty, said in a statement. “Payload gives our agents and partners the modern tools they need to close deals faster and with less friction.”

Through the integration, workflows including agent billing, earnest money deposits, buyer retainer fees, title payments, commission payments and lease commission payments are now automated. Additionally, eXp’s platform is now able to support a variety of payment methods, including same-day ACH, credit/debit cards, mobile wallets, Check21 and instant payment options including FedNow and real-time payments. 

“This is a textbook example of how an enterprise can leverage Payload to solve complex, high-volume payment workflows,” Zach Jacob, Payload’s vice president of partnerships, said in a statement. “eXp used our full range of capabilities, off-the-shelf tools, APIs and integrations to unify and automate both inbound and outbound payments across their entire ecosystem.”

According to the release, the newly launched integration is already approaching 100,000 payments processed per month across eXp Realty’s network.
