Harmony Homes nets approval for new senior living project in Missouri
Harmony Homes recently announced a new project in Maryland Heights, Missouri, having received approval local municipal leaders to move the project forward, according to a news release.
The vote clears the way for Harmony Homes to begin development of its Residential Assisted Living (RAL) homes, aimed at offering older adults a “more intimate, comfortable and home-like environment” compared to traditional assisted living.
“We are thrilled with the Council’s decision and grateful for the warm reception from the Maryland Heights community,” said Bob DeClue, President of Harmony Homes. “Our mission is to provide seniors with a place that truly feels like home, where they can receive exceptional care without sacrificing their sense of independence and community. This approval is a significant step toward fulfilling that mission for future residents in Maryland Heights.”
Harmony Homes is leveraging the success of its sister company, Aspen Valley Senior Homes, which has operated similar RAL care models in Washington, Missouri, demonstrating “high demand and effectiveness” of the personalized approach to senior living, the release states.
The new development will include six, custom-built homes able to accommodate 16 residents each, and allows for a higher staffing ratio between residents and care staff.
Construction is expected to start in the “coming months,” with an anticipated opening of the two homes in mid-2026 with another four homes to be completed in 2027.
