Idaho Affordable Housing Agency Adopts Sagent’s Dara Claims

Sagent, a Warburg Pincus-backed fintech firm, announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with the Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) to implement Sagent’s Dara Claims platform.

IHFA is a non-profit organization that provides affordable housing solutions and economic development opportunities across Idaho. The organization also services roughly 300,000 loans across Idaho and other states.

“This partnership between Sagent and IHFA is a breakthrough in how technology can help address America’s home affordability crisis,” said Geno Paluso, CEO of Sagent. “By automating claims to reduce operational costs, Dara Claims helps IHFA recover more servicing expenses and reinvest in affordable housing programs. Helping servicers support successful homeownership is what Dara by Sagent is all about.”

The first-to-market implementation of Dara Claims allows IHFA to process claims within its existing servicing system, connect with investors and handle multiple claim types, according to the companies.

Sagent’s Dara is a mortgage servicing software platform that combines all loan management functions — like payments, transfers, hardship assistance and compliance — into one system.

We can then put that savings back into the programs that enable housing opportunities in Idaho and the other state agencies we serve.”

The platform is designed to help servicers reduce loan losses and improve compliance.
