Homes.com Launches Ai-powered ‘smart Search’

Homes.com has introduced Smart Search, an artificial intelligence-powered feature designed to make finding homes more intuitive and conversational.

The new search tool allows users to look for homes using natural language rather than traditional filters or keywords.

Consumers can type or speak detailed requests such as “ranch-style house with a pool in Austin” or “2-bed condos in Arlington and Alexandria near metro stations” and receive instant, relevant results across all listings.

Smart Search also supports searches based on points of interest, such as “condos near CoStar’s Arlington and Richmond offices,” and includes speech-to-text functionality that lets users tap a microphone and describe what they’re looking for aloud.

Built on natural language technology, Smart Search is designed to better understand user intent and produce results that reflect individual lifestyles and priorities, the company added.
