Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty Acquires 200-agent Firm In Massachusetts

Massachusetts-based Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty on Thursday announced its acquisition of Advisors Living — a 200-agent firm operating from 16 offices across the state.

As part of the integration, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty will consolidate most Advisors Living offices into its existing footprint while adding new offices in Andover, Canton, Gloucester, Plymouth and Tewksbury.

The move expands Gibson Sotheby’s luxury real estate reach to 33 offices and more than 700 agents statewide.

Gibson Sotheby’s reported $3.29 billion in sales volume in 2024, according to RealTrends Verified, making it the No. 1 Massachusetts-based real estate firm by sales volume with the highest average sale price among the top 10 brokerages in the state.

Founded in 2001 by Jason Weissman, Advisors Living serves as the residential sales arm of Boston Realty Advisors, an independent commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm.

Merit McIntyre was named president and CEO of Advisors Living in 2021.
