Exp Realty Launches Agent Co-sponsor Program

eXp Realty has launched an initiative that allows agents to name both a primary and secondary mentor, formalizing a shared leadership model that aims to improve agent support, retention and development.
The co-sponsor program, officially unveiled at eXp’s EXPCON conference in Montreal, Canada, allows new agents and commercial advisers to designate a primary sponsor — a longtime element of eXp’s model — and a co-sponsor who contributes to their early success.
“This is about honoring how real influence and support work in our industry,” Leo Pareja, CEO of eXp Realty, said in a statement. “Now, agents and advisors can tap into two different strengths. Perhaps one sponsor is a marketing pro, while the other excels at operations or developing a team.
“That kind of collaboration doesn’t just inspire, it compresses time, multiplies results, and elevates our entire community.”
The dual-sponsor structure provides financial incentives to the co-sponsor, including Level 1 revenue sharing and half of the company’s Fast Start Bonus, recognizing their role in onboarding and guiding new agents.
Primary sponsors will continue to receive Level 2 through Level 7 revenue shares, along with other established equity and compensation benefits, eXp said.
According to the company, the initiative is designed to enhance onboarding experiences, improve retention and offer more tailored guidance to new agents by leveraging the complementary strengths of two leaders instead of one.
A co-sponsor toolkit — complete with training materials and onboarding templates — is available to agents.
“This is innovation rooted in how agents actually work,” Pareja said. “It’s about listening, responding with purpose, and creating more ways for our agents and advisors to thrive.”
