Compass, Chapter Partner On Home Renovations

Compass has entered into a partnership with renovation firm Chapter to integrate design and remodeling services into the home buying and selling processes across markets in New York, Florida, Connecticut and New Jersey.
The alliance allows Compass agents to offer complimentary renovation consultations, floor plans and visual renderings to clients who are listing homes with the brokerage.
Buyers will gain access to estimates and design plans that help evaluate a property’s potential prior to purchase. A 5% discount on renovation work completed through Chapter is also being offered.
“Home sales and renovation have historically operated individually, and this collaboration eliminates that divide,” Eli Moyal, chief operating officer and founder of Chapter. “Compass agents now have Chapter by their side from the moment a listing is signed, with transparent estimates, clear timelines, and visual tools that remove guesswork, which allows design plans to move forward confidently.”
The collaboration embeds Chapter’s renovation planning directly into Compass’s sales pipeline — from initial listing appointments through post-sale project execution.
“At Compass, we’re constantly looking for innovative ways to add value for our agents and their clients,” said Gordon Golub, regional vice president at Compass. “By integrating renovation solutions directly into the workflow, we’re making it easier for agents to help their clients sell their homes faster by allowing buyers and sellers to see the full potential of a property.”
Chapter will provide itemized estimates, alternate floor plans and architectural renderings as part of the offering for qualified listings. The company said its representatives will accompany Compass agents during property walk-throughs, provide renovation proposals and manage projects after a transaction closes.
“This alliance opens up incredible opportunities to redefine real estate transactions by combining Compass’s market-leading agent network with our end-to-end renovation expertise,” said Ari Salehi, director of business development at Chapter.
“Agents having the ability to present properties not just as they are, but as they could be, with clarity, speed, and precision, is a powerful proposition in today’s dynamic market.”
Chapter’s renovation process is supported by RenoTech — a proprietary platform that provides real-time project tracking and communication. The company’s design-build model includes in-house architects, designers, engineers and project managers.
