Brightview, Palace Group Lead 2025 List Of Best Workplaces In Aging Services

Brightview Senior Living and The Palace Group have swapped spots as the first- and second-place “Best Workplaces for Aging Services” in 2025.

Brightview Senior Living President and CEO Doug Dollenberg called the company’s reclaiming of the top spot an “incredible honor.”

“Every day, our team of over 6,000 associates brings dedication, compassion, and commitment to their work, creating the exceptional experiences that define Brightview,” Dollenberg said in a statement. “This recognition reflects the heart, hospitality, and care of the people who make our communities a great place to live.”

The annual list, put together by Activated Insights and released on Thursday, ranks the top aging services workplaces across the country and sorts them into either large or small- and medium-sized operators.

Carlsbad, California-based Continuing Life jumped from the 12th spot in 2024 to the third spot this year.

Atlanta, Georgia-based The Arbor Company went unranked last year to the fourth spot in 2025.

“This distinction is a testament to our people-first philosophy,” said Judd Harper, president of The Arbor Company. “Our team’s passion for enriching the lives of residents is at the heart of our mission—this recognition reflects their dedication, compassion, and unwavering support.”

Warminster, Pennsylvania-based Wesley Enhanced Living, a nonprofit life plan community operator, moved from fourth in 2024 to fifth in 2025.

Another new entrant to the top 10, Indianapolis-based Keystone Senior moved from outside of the Top 25 to sixth this year, according to the list.

Irvine, California-based Silverado moved up six spots to seventh in 2025 from 13th last year. The largest drop in this year’s list came from National HealthCare Corporation, ranked sixth last year and falling to 25th in 2025 followed by The Aspenwood Company moving from seventh in 2024 to 21 this year.

Carlsbad, California-based analytics firm Great Place to Work reviewed survey responses from over 196,000 current employees from Great Place To Work certified companies in senior living, health care and aging services. The list is published by Fortune and organized by Activated Insights.
